Where was summer?

It seems like we almost missed summer this year. About 2 weeks of warm weather. Otherwise it either rained or barely reached 70. We managed 2 days at the beach - the hurricane kept it closed almost a week. Needless to say I'm not a happy little vegemite, now that it's cooling considerably. I'll think I'll look up my address book and find a place to migrate to for the winter.

Carter couldn't wait - as soon as I put him down he was off to the water.
