We take the Grand Central Parkway, past the old police station, old World Trade Fair, Queens Museum, Arthur Ash Stadium, what's left of the Shea Stadium, La Guardia,
and along Flushing bay which was quite stunning in the winter bleakness....
unfortunately I didn't manage to catch much of.

I sat in the harbour watching planes taking off at LaGuardia back in 2000.
I then took a lovely cab ride by almost all of these sites! No way was i driving myself...it was the fourth of July!
