Believe it or not, we had such a day in Perth (Western Australia) last Monday when a storm to end all storms hit leaving hundreds of millions of dollars in damage, mainly from giant hailstones and high winds. It was pitch black at 4pm in the afternoon. This was the worst storm ever to hit Perth in living record and perhaps a warning of what is to come with global warming. Shelle, your photography is superb. I love this black and white picture and I am in awe of your macro pics. Just amazing.
Love that massively strong vertical line when contrasted with the more delicated hatching of vertical and horizontal across the lower third of the image. Good stuff.

It might have been here at the moment - and that is true ;-)
A wonderful photo full of moody hues and the feeling of an onset storm!
