Though I do some digital art, especially when it comes to cloud paintings and organic art, but my pen and inks and colored pencil drawings, etc., are all done in real life. I use Prismacolor pencils to achieve the bright colors. It takes layer after layer of color, with a smoothing blender pencil when I've achieved the effect I want.
