Flowers - Theme Thursday

It's been several weeks already since I've done much as far as art...I have just been tied up with photography...not so much taking pictures, just going thru and organizing and getting them on my blog. The main reason I started blogging was so that there was a good backup of my photos...and I haven't gotten far with it...so I really must spend a few weeks getting everything backed up...my computer's old and it's not handling all the graphics very well anymore, it's very slow...I'm afraid one day it'll just conk out....I think we all know how that works.

These photos were actually taken by my daughter last spring and I turned them into photo art. We barely have any buds let alone flowers yet! I love this watercolour affect. I do this with some of my special photos.

Gorgeous! Especially the daffodil! You and your daughter make a great creative team. How do you get the watercolor effect?

Thank you! It is one of the filters in Microsoft Picture It that I use.

Am really enjoying your blog. And the effect on these photos is gorgeous. I'm going to have to figure out a similar effect in Photoshop. I love playing around with digital effects... so fun.

And your story in your About Me is incredible. Seven kids! How amazing and wonderful!

I'll look out for your NY photos -- would love to see them.
